Fully Automatic Washing Machine Repair Service

Smart washers think for themselves — until a sensor or board lies to them. We repair the electronics, sensors and inverter drives behind every automatic cycle.

When the Problem Isn't Mechanical — It's the Brain

Fully automatic washers — from LG, Samsung, IFB, Bosch, Haier and Whirlpool — run on a control board that reads sensors and commands motors, valves and heaters. When a cycle misbehaves, the real fault is often a sensor, a relay or a loose connector, not the drum.

Our fully automatic repairs happen at component level: pressure sensors, thermistors, hall/rotor position sensors, door locks, triacs and relays on the PCB, motor windings and drive electronics — tested with proper instruments, not guesswork.

Automatic-Washer Faults We Repair

PCB & Power Section

Dead panels, blown SMPS, stuck relays, burnt traces — board-level repair with post-repair calibration.

Water-Level & Flow Sensors

Overfilling, underfilling, endless fill — pressure sensor, air dome and flow meter faults resolved.

Inverter / DD Motors

No spin or erratic spin — stator, rotor position sensor and drive stage diagnosed at bench level.

Load & Imbalance Sensing

Machines that refuse to spin or endlessly redistribute — imbalance sensor and suspension system tuned together.

Heater & Temperature

Cold washes on hot programs — heating element, thermistor and relay chain repaired.

Door Lock Electronics

Lock errors and doors jammed shut — interlock circuitry and latch assemblies replaced brand-correct.

Sensors and Boards — When the Signal, Not the Part, Lies

Fully automatic washers make decisions from sensor inputs: the pressure sensor reports water level, the tachometer reports motor speed, imbalance sensing watches tub travel, and the door lock reports closure. When a sensor drifts or its wiring furs up, the board executes bad logic perfectly — the machine overfills, aborts spins or hangs mid-cycle while every mechanical part is healthy. When the failure shows up as walking and thumping instead, our vibration guide covers the mechanical side.

Our diagnosis measures the sensor and its wiring before the board is blamed, and where the board is at fault our component-level PCB repair bench fixes relays, triacs and power rails. For brand-specific fault letters, the error code library decodes what each alert really tests.

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers about our washing machine service, repair process, warranty and pricing.

My machine stops mid-cycle randomly. What's wrong?

Random mid-cycle stops usually come from an imbalance sensor tripping, a faulty water-level (pressure) sensor, or an overheating motor. We reproduce the fault with a monitored test cycle and fix the actual trigger, not the symptom.

Can you repair the electronic control board (PCB)?

Yes — at component level where possible (relays, drivers, power sections), which typically costs 40–60% less than a new board. When a board is genuinely unrepairable, we quote a genuine replacement with full calibration.

Do you handle Wi-Fi/app-connected washers?

Yes. For LG ThinQ, Samsung SmartThings and similar app-connected machines we handle both the mechanical faults and the control-side issues, including firmware-pairing problems after board service.

How does load sensing work in a fully automatic washer?

At cycle start the board pulses the motor and reads its current draw plus the tachometer feedback to estimate the load size, then meters water level and wash time accordingly. When sensing misreads, cycles overfill, run long or abort — our diagnosis tests the motor current signature before blaming any part.

What does the water-level pressure sensor do?

An air tube from the tub bottom presses on a diaphragm in the pressure sensor, telling the board exactly when to close the inlet valve solenoid. A cracked air dome, a fur-blocked tube or a sticky diaphragm causes overfilling, underfilling or endless fill — the symptoms line up with our fill-fault guide.

Why does my machine keep adding water during the wash?

Repeated top-ups mean the board believes the level is dropping — a leaking drain valve, a siphoning drain hose or a drifting pressure sensor can each cause it. Whether water is genuinely escaping or the sensor is lying decides the repair, which is why we first rule out a real leak as in our leak-tracing guide.

What is the inverter drive, and why does it fail?

The inverter drive is the board stage that synthesises variable-frequency power for the motor, replacing carbon brushes and belts with electronics. It fails from moisture tracking in along a weeping bearing seal, voltage spikes, or heat, and its rotor-position-sensor wiring is a frequent weak point — all bench-repairable through our PCB repair service.

Are error codes enough to diagnose the fault?

Codes name the symptom, never the failed part — an LE can mean the motor, its position sensor or the drive stage, and a 4E can be a valve or just a kinked hose. Our error code library explains what each brand code really checks; instrument testing then confirms the culprit before any part is replaced.

Do Wi-Fi and smart washers need different care?

The mechanics need identical care, plus two electronic extras: keep the detergent tray dry so tray-mounted sensors and floater switches stay clean, and have firmware re-paired after any board service so the control logic matches the repaired hardware. Our smart washer service handles both sides.

Which parts fail first on fully automatic machines?

Statistically the inlet valve solenoid, drain pump and lid lock lead the list, followed by pressure sensors and PCB relays — none of which mean the machine is finished. Every one is a same-visit component repair on a doorstep visit, and most cost a fraction of what people fear.

Related Services, Component Guides & Fixes

Every service pairs with component work and fault knowledge — replacement goes smoother when you know the failure chain behind it. These related pages cover the full workflow.

Fully automatics are sensor ecosystems — pressure sensing, load detection and inverter drive talking to one board. Fill anomalies start at the inlet valve, drive faults at the motor service.
